OBS supports sorting and grouping of the data. For sorting and/or grouping data, it can include as many columns as in demand.
In order to notify the user of any validation failures, OBS not only highlights the form fields but also shows error messages as tool tips.
OBS runs as a standalone as well as through LAN (i.e It can run even if if there is no connectivity at all).
Keyboard and Mouse Friendly
OBS is mouse, as well as keyboard driven software. It has shortcuts similar to that of Finacle, hence making is much easier to operate.
OBS supports transaction locking. No other operation can be done if the same record is already opened.
Cash & Transfer Transaction
OBS gives warning messages whenever amount being withdrawn is more than the available clear balance. OBS don’t allow overdrawing in Savings Account. Overdrawing is allowed only in Current and Cash Credit Accounts.
OBS validates whether MICR code exists in the data base, it gives a list of the cheques, where MICR code mismatches in outward clearing. OBS also validates the account number and gives a list of the cheques having invalid or unavailable account numbers in outward clearing. OBS gives a report having insufficient balance in the inward clearing.
